2008 Street Stock Rules
*Cannot race outside your class. If you race in another class two
weeks you cannot race in the lower class again.
*You cannot race in two classes the same night.
Anything not specified must be OEM and remain in stock location
with no modifications.

WEIGHT WITH 602- 3100LBS (650cfm carb - Holley # 80541-1)
Bodies and Frames
1. 1970 or newer sedan eligible.
2. Minimum stock wheelbase 108", frame cannot be cut or modified
in any place.
3. Body may be aftermarket late model type
4. Must be full metal stock or aluminum neatly painted. May run
after market nose piece.
5. Floor pan must remain stock and complete.
6. Trunk and hood may be hulled
7. Bumpers may be replaced by 2x2, 2x3, or round tube but must
be extended no further than 5" from frame rails out board front
bumper must be concealed by nose piece or stock.
8. All glass must be removed.
9. Full roll cage allowed. Roll cage perimeter bars must be 1 3/4
x 095 tubing. Four bars in driver's door and X'ed in passenger side,
door plates recommended.
10. May run spoiler
11. Must have drive shaft hoop no more than 10" behind transmission.
12. Must have working three wheel brakes. Disc brakes allowed.
No brake adjusters allowed.
13. All holes in floorpan and fire wall must be covered to prevent
fire from entering driver compartment. Floor pan may have two small
drain holes at back.
14. Back seat not further back than front of door post or rear
of door.
Tires and Rims
1. Hoosier RC4- RC6 - RC46. Tires available at the track.
2. 10" maximum wide wheel. No spacers allowed. 2" maximum
offset. Any steel wheel.
3. No grooving, cutting, snipping, or soaking permitted.
Suspension - All suspension components must remain stock and in
stock location. May run racing springs, and racing shocks. All parts
must be OEM for make and year of car.
Batteries - Battery may be relocated to firewall or inside driver
compartment. Battery must be in a type battery case fully covered
and securely mounted.
Gas Tank
1. Must use approved fuel cell mounted in can with two 2"
straps top and bottom. Must have tip over valve.
2. No glass type fuel filters.
3. Fuel liner must be routed so they cannot be ripped loose from
racing action. If run through interior of car, must be in conduit.
Transmission - Turbo 350 or Powerglide Automatic transmissions
only. Must have working torque converter. No Direct Drive. No Brinn
or Bert Transmissions.
Rear Ends - Stock rear end for car being run only - no modifications.
Locked rear end optional. May change rear end gear ratio. 9”

Camshaft…..300 lift @ cam, Hyd Lifters only. “GM .450
lift, Ford .480 lift”
Lifters…. Hyd lifters, must be stock diameter “GM .842...Ford
.875”
Factory type Double Roller Timing allowed, Torrington bearing okay,
NO Tensioners on timing chains allowed.
MUST have factory type rockers arms for engine being used , GM
ratio 1.5 ONLY, Ford 1.6 ONLY, NO ROLLER ROCKER ARMS
Heads…Vortec heads allowed, must be run “out of the
box” No screw in studs, No guide plates, Stock diameter Valve
Springs with no dampner. Angle milling allowed. …”NO
BOWTIE VORTEC HEADS ALLOWED, ONLY 906 & 062 CASTINGS ALLOWED

May run double humps or 305 heads.. NO BOWTIE or angle plug heads
allowed except ford and Chrysler.
Screw in studs and Guide Plates allowed except on vortec heads..
Max Rocker Stud Size 3/8
Heads may be angle milled
Valves… Stainless steel okay ,NO titanium. GM Must be no
larger than 1.94 Intake & 1.500 Ex. Ford may not exceed 1.840
int. & 1.540 ex.
May run any diameter valve spring except on vortec heads
Intake manifold to be used with vortec heads will be Edelbrock
7116 or Mercruiser cast iron intake.. “NO EXCEPTIONS”
Intake manifold to be used with 305-350 heads other than Vortec
will be Edelbrock 7101 or STOCK cast iron , or cast iron Bowtie
manifold “NO EXCEPTIONS”
Crankshaft must be stock GM or factory replacement. The ONLY aftermarket
crankshaft allowed will be Eagle # 103503480 cast steel or Scat
910442 cast steel. NO AFTERMARKET STEEL CRANKSHAFTS !!!!!!! Stock
and aftermarket cast crankshafts must weigh a minimum of 50lbs.
Crankshaft must retain stock stroke for engine being used…GM
305-350 = 3.480, Ford 302= 3.000 Ford 351w= 3.500.…..Plus
or Minus .020
MUST use STOCK Connecting Rods for engine being used, MUST BE STOCK
LENGTH “GM 305-350=5.700” Ford 302=5.090, Ford 351w=5.956.
THE ONLY aftermarket connecting rods approved are Eagle SIR5700bblw
or SIR5700bplw, or SCAT 25700.
May use forged pistons, Flat top or Dish, NO DOME Pistons.
Block may be bored .060. NO AFTERMARKET main caps allowed. Block
my be deburred and screens installed. 2 or 4 bolt main allowed with
factory main caps.
Blocks may be decked to .000 deck height, Pistons MUST NOT protrude
out of the block “Minimum deck height .000”
May use unmodified 4412 carb.
MAX Cubic Inches are as follow GM = 360 Ford= 362
Method used for determining cubic inches is “8 x bore x bore
x stroke x .7854”
