Anything not specified must be OEM and remain in stock location with no modifications.
Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the chief technical inspector, any decision of and by Flomaton Speedway officials is final

Bodies and Frames
1. 1970 or newer sedan eligible.
2. Minimum stock wheelbase 108", frame may not be cut or modified from behind the rear spring buckets to the front of the idler arm and steering box.
3. Body must be set on original body mounts.
4. May use aftermarket aluminum sheetmetal bodies
5. Front firewall may be replaced with steel, and also may be moved back 6" from stock location.
6. Rear floor pan behind drivers seat may be removed
7. Trunk and hood may be hulled
8. Bumpers may be replaced by 2x2, 2x3, or round tube but must be extended no further than 5" from frame rails out board front bumper must be concealed by nose piece or stock. No pointed ends or sharp edges
9. Dash must remain stock appearing.
10. All glass must be removed.
11. Full roll cage allowed. Roll cage perimeter bars must be 1 3/4 x 095 tubing. Four bars in driver's door and X'ed in passenger side, door plates recommended. All welds must meet satisfaction of chief technical inspector.
12. May run 4" max height spoiler, side boards ok.
13. Must have drive shaft hoop no more than 10" behind transmission.  Shaft must be painted white and include car number.
14. Must have working three wheel brakes. May run disc brakes but cannot be adjustable.  Brakes may be tested for satisfactory performance at any time by chief technical inspector
15. All holes in floorpan and fire wall must be covered to prevent fire from entering driver compartment. Floor pan may have two small drain holes at back.
16. Back of seat not further back than front of door post or rear of door.  Additional weight penalty may be added for compensation of see that is far back.  Weight amount and placement to be decided by chief technical inspector
17. No boxing in or enclosing of the driver's compartment

Tires and Rims
1. Tires will be Hoosier RC-4 only.
2. May run bead lock on right rear only.
3. 10" maximum wide wheel.
4. No tire alterations of any kind allowed (chemical or physical).  Automatic disqualification.
5. must duro 48 or higher at all times
Suspension
1. All suspension components must remain stock, unaltered and in stock location unless specified otherwise. And must be for car being run.
2. Stock Mount steel racing shocks OK. No aluminum, no re-valveable/ rebuildable.
3. Right rear shock mount may be raised to increase shock travel.
4. May run racing springs.
5. All Steel tubular upper control arms are OK with stock mounts only, stock type ball joint, and non-adjustable
6. All non-specified parts must be OEM for make and year of car.
7.  Adjustable spring spacers ok. No weight jacks.

Batteries - Battery may be relocated to firewall or inside driver compartment. Battery must be in a type battery case fully covered and securely mounted. Plastic cases only.

Gas Tank
1. Must use approved fuel cell mounted in can with two 2" straps top and bottom. Must have tip over valve.
2. No glass type fuel filters.
3. Fuel line must be routed so they cannot be ripped loose from racing action. If run through interior of car, must be in conduit.

Transmission
1. OEM Production Transmissions Only. May run Automatic or any standard. No Direct Drives.
2. Stock clutch.and pressure plate only

Rear Ends - Stock rear end for car being run - no modifications. Locked rear end optional. May change rear end gear ratio. 9 inch Ford ok. full floater ok.. all steel parts only,hubs,drive plates,axels,spool must be steel.full or mini spool only. lower trailing arms must be same length and mounted at same height. no gun drilled axels.

Engines
1. Must be same as manufacturer's engine in stock location. May be mounted on solid mounts.
2. Motors must be 5.7 rod, 1.94/1.50 valve, stock stroke. 360 cid max, rods must be stock length for block being used.
3. Only OEM or GM Vortec Heads may be used.
4. All engine components must be stock with no modifications unless spicifically noted in these rules.
5. Camshaft may be .450 lift at valve. Hydraulic can only measure .300 at cam. No 1.6 rockers or roller rockers. No rocker cams.
6. Carburetor must be unaltered 4412. May run cast iron bowtie intake with 1 1/4" adapter plate. May remove choke butterfly and rod. Choke horn must be unaltered.
7. Stock distributors only. No MSD parts or components allowed.
8. stock exhaust manifold, underslung or overrail headers ok. No 180 degree headers
9. Sock steel flywheel 17 lb minimum
10. GM or OEM Stock Replacement Crankshafts only.
11. May use forged pistons, flat top or dished, no dome piston
12. 2 or 4 main with factory main caps
13. blocks may be decked to .000 deck height
14. pistons must not protrude out of block
15. no angle plug heads
16. may use edelbrock 7116 intake or same as 602 crate engine with vortec heads.
17. may use edelbrock 7101intake on 55-86 cylinder heads
18. must use mechanical fuel pump, no electrical pumps allowed
19. May use factory approved sealed crate motor GM part number 88958602. (if not properly sealed, engine must meet all standard engine rules. Including Cam.)
20. May use unaltered Holley 650cfm carburetor (holley part number 0-80541-1) on sealed 602 crate motor.
21.  No aluminum or titanium engine parts unless specified otherwise.
22.  Firing order must remain stock and unaltered.  No 4-7 swaps.

WEIGHT.
1. All cars must weigh 3,200 pounds with driver at all times,  No burn off.
2.  All weight must be mounted with two 1/2" bolts and painted white with car number.

3.No weight or loose objects in drivers compartment.
4.  Automatic DQ for weight falling off on the racetrack.  Lost weight will be confiscated by Flomaton Speedway

Safety
1. All cars must be equipped with an approved 5-point quick release or aircraft type seatbelt and shoulder harness securely fastened to the frame or roll cage with minimum 3/8" grade 5 bolts.
2. Seatbelt and harness must be at least 3" material and manufactured within 3 years of event
3. Approved helmet with face shield or goggles required. Driver’s fire suit required.
4. Working fire extinguisher required. Must be mounted to roll cage with quick release bracket within driver’s reach.
5.  Roll bar padding mandatory on all bars within reach of any part of the drives body while driver is properly seated in the car.
6.  Drivers neck brace mandatory.
7.  Drivers window net manufactured within past 5 years mandatory.

Car must meet satisfaction of chief technical inspector for integrity and safety each night before allowed on the racetrack.

All cars must have tow chains on front and rear of car, openly accessible to track officals.
